Job Title: Prison Security Escort

Location: HMP Feltham

Job Type: Temporary, with potential for long-term opportunity

Hourly Rate: £12.63 + 33 days holiday pay, with overtime rate of £16.80ph after 37.5 hours

About the Role:

As a Prison Security Escort with Skyblue Solutions, you will work closely with the prison service to ensure the safe and secure maintenance of the facilities. You will be part of a security team responsible for escorting and overseeing contractors, including carpenters, plumbers, and electricians, as they complete their work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify the identification of contractors and ensure they have received security briefings
  • Escort contractors through the prison to their designated work areas
  • Oversee contractors while they work, maintaining a high level of vigilance and attention to detail
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure contractors' tools are accounted for and secure
  • Communicate effectively with the security team and contractors via radio
