Early Years Outdoor Practitioner Lead

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Early Years Outdoor Practitioner Lead at Willow Den. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality outdoor learning experiences that promote child-led learning and play-based experiences.
The successful candidate will have experience working with young children and a qualification in Childhood Practice/Early Years and Young People or be working towards it. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with our Early Years team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality outdoor learning experiences that promote child-led learning and play-based experiences.
- Support Key Workers in setting up and maintaining outdoor spaces that meet the needs of children aged 3 to school age.
- Comply with organisational policies and procedures, including Risk Assessments and Health and Safety procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualified to SCQF level 7 in Childhood Practice/Early Years and Young People or working towards it.
- Experience in an Early Years Practitioner role and following Health and Safety procedures.
- Competent in recording children’s progress and completing children’s learning journals.
