The Recruit Build team is seeking an experienced Civils Site Manager Lead to oversee civil engineering projects in the natural resources sector. With a proven track record in managing projects within the NEC ECC contract and Cost Value Reconciliation process, you will lead project teams to deliver on-time, within budget, and to high standards of quality and compliance.

This challenging role comes with a competitive package to £60k + car allowance + benefits. As a Civils Site Manager Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring commercial management of the project, promoting a safety-conscious work environment, and maintaining a strong understanding of behavioural-based safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee civil engineering projects in the natural resources sector.
  • E nsure commercial management of the project, with a strong understanding of the NEC ECC contract and CVR process.
  • Promote and maintain a safety-conscious work environment, with a focus on behavioural-based safety.
  • Lead project teams to deliver on-time, within budget, and to high standards of quality and compliance.

Requirements:
  • Construction Site Management NVQ higher level or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the natural resources sectors, ideally water.
  • Extensive experience with NEC ECC contracts and commercial management.
  • Strong background in safety culture and behavioural-based safety practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Able to provide references to validate a comprehensive skill set and experience.
  • SMSTS.
  • CSCS.
