Desktop Support Role

A leading IT services and solutions provider is looking for a Senior Desktop Support Engineer to join their team in Plymouth.

Job Description:

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware faults and basic software issues within agreed service level agreements.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve departmental KPIs and goals, including SLA, customer satisfaction, utilisation, efficiency, productivity, and financial metrics.
  • Elevate any concerns or areas for quality improvement to the Team Leader.

Requirements:

  1. Hold a current SC clearance.
  2. 2+ years of experience in a PC field service environment or PC field workshop environment.
  3. Familiarity with current Microsoft desktop operating systems.
  4. Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, support, and repair hardware, including complex laptop break/fix repairs.
  5. Installation of customer builds and applications.
  6. Flexibility to travel and participate in a standby rota (24/7/365).

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is around £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. The role offers a competitive benefits package and opportunities for career growth with a leading industry player.
