Family Law Solicitor/Lawyer Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Law Solicitor/Lawyer to join our team at LR Legal Recruitment. As a Family Law Solicitor/Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and representation in Family Law and Court of Protection categories of law.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Provide competent advice, assistance, and representation in Family Law and Court of Protection categories of law
* Fulfil contract requirements in the family department
* Conduct file reviews on family law files and complete necessary paperwork
* Manage client work in accordance with detailed procedures and quality standards
* Achieve agreed levels of billing and time recording
* Ensure fees paid by private clients are used appropriately and in the best interest of the client
* Take responsibility for and attend to your own training needs
* Comply with relevant training requirements of the SRA/LAA and assist with in-house training as may be required

**Requirements**

* Commitment to high-quality private and legal aid work
* Ability to deal and work with clients from a wide variety of cultural, ethnic, and educational backgrounds
* Supervision experience
