We are looking for an experienced Agile Test Developer to join our team at Cammach Bryant. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out Return Inspections, Testing, and Recertification of company and customer-owned CCUs and lifting equipment.

About the Role:

The main purpose of this role is to ensure the quality and safety of our equipment. This involves performing return inspections, testing, and recertification of company and customer-owned CCUs and lifting equipment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform return inspections on tanks, containers, baskets, skips, and lifting equipment.
  2. Visually inspect lifting equipment and CCUs.
  3. Carry out goods receipt inspection on slings and shackles and store them on racks.
  4. Complete daily records of equipment inspected and tested and prepare NDT reports.
  5. Carry out NDT testing of lifting lug welds using MPI techniques.
  6. Undertake minor repairs, maintenance, and aesthetics improvements.
  7. Update completed inspections using the company's handheld device.
  8. Travel to customer sites, both onshore and offshore, to test and inspect customer-owned equipment, including any type of lifting equipment.

Requirements:

  • A strong work ethic.
  • Certified to carry out multiple NDE of welds & casts (MP/LP & ET/UT).
  • LEEA Foundation.
  • LEEA Lifting Gear General Diploma or Equivalent.

The estimated salary for this role is around £55,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a permanent, staff position with a core working week of 40 hours.
