The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all accounting entries within their area of control are recorded accurately and in a timely manner. This involves providing timely reporting of financial data to business stakeholders and clients, as well as financial forecasting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounting entries to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and manage invoices in accordance with commercial terms.
  • Lead the accounting team to achieve financial goals.
  • Calculate billing and cost rates, and analyze margins to manage profitability.
  • Prepare and manage annual plans and quarterly reforecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with the Financial Management Framework.
  • Focus on cash collection, DSO optimization, and unbilled items reconciliation.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Further education through College or University with a recognized accounting qualification.
  • Qualified or Part Qualified CIMA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience.
  • Proficient user of Excel.
  • People supervision experience and skills.
  • Good commercial experience.
  • Good knowledge of ERP and other IT systems (Oracle, Hyperion).
