Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in the Walsall area. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing subcontractor packages, preparing and submitting applications for payment, and providing monthly cost reports in line with project budgets.
Key Responsibilities- Manage subcontractor packages from appointment to final account
- Prepare and submit applications for payment
- Provide monthly cost reports in line with project budgets
- Submit valuations and variations on schemes
- Procure subcontractors
- Experience at a Senior Quantity Surveyor level
- Good working knowledge of NEC3 and/or NEC4 form of contracts
- Sound interpersonal and organisational skills
- Experience working on mechanical and/or electrical works in the water sector (ideal)
- A starting salary of up to £60k/annum (negotiable depending on experience)
- Company car or car allowance
- 25 days' annual leave plus statutory holidays
