Partnership Tax Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Partnership Tax Accountant to join our finance team at Hays Senior Finance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing tax services to our business owners and ensuring compliance with UK tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partnership Tax Compliance:
    • Prepare and review partnership tax returns, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • Assist in the preparation of tax computations, reserves, and payment schedules.
    • Build strong relationships with partners to provide tax planning and consulting services.
    • Advise on tax implications of business decisions and provide support on tax-related matters.
  • Other Tax-Related Support:
    • Assist with tax-related ad hoc projects as required.
    • Review and preparation of capital allowances, working with external advisors as needed.
    • Identify and manage tax risks, ensuring the firm and its partners are aware of their tax obligations.
    • Liaise with partners, former partners, and third-party agents or advisers as required.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role within an LLP or a professional services firm.
  • Strong knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations, particularly those relating to LLPs.
  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent) is required.
