About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Care Team Leader to join our team at Care UK. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who shares our passion for delivering high-quality care and support to our residents.
Job Summary: As a Senior Care Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and supervising your shift, ensuring that all residents receive the best possible care and support. You will work closely with the leadership team to develop services and implement new initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise your shift, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork
- Case manage residents and liaise with families and healthcare professionals to ensure best care plans are created and delivered
- Administer and record medication in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Carry out risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate them
- Work alongside care assistants to support residents with daily needs, providing guidance and training as needed
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop services and implement new initiatives
- Provide a fun, inclusive, and professional approach at all times, demonstrating a strong commitment to resident-centered care
Benefits Package:
- A competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience

About You
- NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent qualifications/experience
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to allocate and delegate tasks effectively
- Proven track record of leadership and supervision, with a focus on resident-centered care
- Good understanding of care planning processes and the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Experience in administering medication or willingness to undertake training
- Natural ability to motivate and inspire others, promoting a positive and inclusive team culture
