Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Risk and Audit Strategist to lead our Internal Audit & Risk team in London. As a key member of our Finance department, you will develop and maintain our Risk Framework and Risk Management Strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the CFO to establish and refine our Risk Framework and Risk Management Strategy for approval by the Risk Steering Committee.
  • Identify and assess risks, providing guidance to management on risk response and mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate risk activities, consolidating reports for Leadership and the Risk Steering Committee.
  • Proactively inform senior management of potential significant risks or exposures requiring prompt attention.
  • Plan and execute audits or reviews as committed within our annual internal audit plan approved by the Audit Committee.

Requirements:

  1. Essential experience in Big 4/Top 10 audit firms.
  2. Significant exposure to internal controls, either through auditing or advisory roles.
  3. Expertise in managing all stages of external/internal audit engagements.
  4. Practical knowledge and experience with Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks.
  5. Strong English communication skills.
