We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer with a strong background in analogue and digital design to join our team at People Source Consulting Ltd trading as Experis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of electronics product development and design experience, with a good understanding of instrumentation and monitoring systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop new electronic instruments and equipment, as well as maintain and upgrade existing designs to meet legislative requirements and improve performance.
- Propose and prepare electronic specifications to meet functional requirements and negotiate achievable requirements with stakeholders.
- Prototype, test, and document results, presenting test data to others and contributing to test and inspection plans as necessary.
- Troubleshoot development and production issues, liaising with suppliers, sub-contractors, and internal and external personnel as required.
- Maintain electronic and software information to meet quality system requirements and advise on content for technical support documentation.
- Look for continuous improvement opportunities within electronic and software design, and propose ideas for improving quality and efficiency.
- Train other employees in technical and operational matters, as required.
- HND or degree level in electronics or equivalent.
- Proven track record of electronics product development and design experience.
- Circuit board design software package knowledge.
- EMC, RoHS, LVD, CE/UKCA design compliance.
- Internet of Things (IoT) design and implementation experience is advantageous.
- Capable of applying knowledge to troubleshoot and propose solutions for electronics-related issues.
- Firmware design experience is advantageous.
- Good computer literacy skills.
