BTEC Nationals - Dental Technology Senior Standards Verifier

As a Senior Standards Verifier for BTEC Nationals in Dental Technology, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of assessment and verification processes within this Principal Subject Area (PSA).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake sampling of candidates' work to verify that assessment outcomes meet national occupational standards.
  • Hold sector-specific responsibility for interpretation of national occupational standards and evidence requirements.
  • Provide specialist advice and support to centres and assessors on specifications, assessment, and delivery.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.

You will need substantial recent experience of external verification of qualifications within the sector, with a minimum of one academic year's worth of teaching experience in Dental Technology. You must be registered with the General Dental Council and have higher-level assessment and delivery experience across a range of qualifications relevant to the sector.
