Deputy Care Home Manager Job Opportunity

An exciting new role has arisen for a dedicated Deputy Care Home Manager to work in a leading care home based in the Eye, Suffolk area. You will be working for a renowned healthcare provider.

This exceptional care home is a purpose-built unit for residents with dementia, located in a converted Victorian country house with accommodation.

To be considered for this position, you must have at least an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and previous experience as a Deputy Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Home Manager and manage the day-to-day running of the home in their absence.
  • Work alongside the Home Manager to manage and have responsibility for all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements.
  • Ensure service users receive the highest standards of professional support, promoting growth and independence.
  • Promote ownership of care programs by involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care programs.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • The ability to engage with service users to understand their needs and provide excellent care services.
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
  • The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staffing teams.
