We are seeking an experienced Footwear Technologist to join our team at Kurt Geiger. As a key member of our sourcing team, you will be responsible for maintaining data on supplier quality issues, facilitating raw material and sample testing, and communicating results to internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Sourcing Team by maintaining accurate records of supplier quality issues
- Collaborate with the QA Technical Manager to investigate quality issues, find solutions, and report findings
- Ensure compliance with international regulations and maintain accurate documentation
- Work closely with the UK team and Asia Supply Chain team to manage production schedules and material approvals
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
- Technical training in footwear fitting and grading
- Previous experience in footwear production or sourcing
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of leather and premium fashion footwear
