Job Overview:
We're seeking an enthusiastic HGV Driver to join our team working from Bonnington Quarry and West Calder. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for driving and a keen interest in learning more about the construction materials industry. With a focus on delivering our products throughout South Scotland, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver concrete, asphalt, and aggregates safely and efficiently.
  • Liaise and build positive relationships with the internal Distribution Team and external customers.
  • Ensure all deliveries comply with legal requirements, prioritizing the health, safety, and environmental standards of Breedon.
  • Work closely with the area Transport Manager to optimize delivery schedules and routes.
  • Contribute to the team by maintaining a flexible approach to working hours, including occasional nights and weekends.

Requirements:
  • A valid Class C License and a current Driver CPC.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A hard-working and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn.
  • Flexibility to work variable hours, with the availability for occasional nights and weekends.
  • A genuine interest in the construction materials industry and a commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
