Be Applied Ltd is looking for an experienced Automation and Control Engineer Lead to join our team in Aylesbury, UK. The successful candidate will have a strong background in robotics technology and experience working with academic institutions to research robotics innovations and pathways to commercialization.

The estimated salary for this position is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. As an Automation and Control Engineer Lead, you will be responsible for the technical deliverables of projects, ensuring work meets or exceeds agreed customer requirements, within agreed budgets and timescales.

You will work closely with teams across the Catapult to identify the companies and universities developing technologies both in the UK and internationally. This involves liaising with internal Catapult teams to support creation of strategic facilities to accelerate the development of innovative space-based robotic solutions.

The ideal candidate will have highly experienced in robotics technology, particularly manipulation, human robot interaction, sensing, high-level programming (ROS, C++, Python), and simulation/emulation knowledge. Additionally, they will have experience of R&D proposal development and working in partnership/consortia settings.
