Job Title: Health, Safety and Well-Being Manager

Project People is seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety and Well-Being Manager to join our team. As a senior member of our HSE Team, you will report directly to the Head of Health, Safety and Environment.

About the Role:

This is a critical position that will play a key role in driving a step change in our approach to Safety and Performance. You will be responsible for embedding a culture of performance, building capability to lead and manage Health and Safety effectively, and partnering with leadership and operational teams to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a functional Health and Safety Plan to deliver the overall Health and Safety Vision.
  • Influence, coach and mentor leadership and operational teams to develop working knowledge and application of Health and Safety management requirements.
  • Provide relevant management information and trend analysis of Health, Safety and Environmental performance data.
  • Develop new standards, processes, guidance and documentation to drive cultural maturity.
Requirements:
  • Relevant health and safety qualification/training (e.g. NEBOSH).
  • Good knowledge of site health and safety risks, management controls and legal standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver to time, quality and cost.
  • Experience in client-side construction or working within an asset infrastructure business.
