Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our Inpatient Acute Therapy team at University Hospitals Dorset. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with adults with complex occupational therapy needs and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assess, manage, and treat patients with a variety of acute presentations affecting their performance status
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to achieve patient goals
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
  • Participate in service development and contribute to the growth and development of the therapy team

Requirements

  • Experience of working as an Occupational Therapist in an acute hospital or community setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to respond to urgent requests and work under pressure
