About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Lead to join our team at Sky. As a Data Governance Lead, you will be responsible for driving the successful implementation of data governance initiatives across the Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a structured framework for organizing and categorizing data domains to effectively embed data governance and data management initiatives.
  • Lead the engagement and partnership with business stakeholders on interpreting, implementing, and assuring data governance and data management best practice.
  • Develop and maintain metrics and key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of data governance practices.
  • Implement monitoring mechanisms and reporting for effective data governance assurance.
  • Interpret policies to guide data governance practices, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in data governance, data ownership, and leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of leading complex initiatives from inception to successful execution.
  • Demonstrable expertise in implementing and managing comprehensive data governance frameworks.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to confidently communicate solutions, ideas, and suggestions to a variety of senior-level partners.
  • Results-oriented, diligent, and champions best practices for data compliance, governance, and quality.
