About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geriatrician to join our team at Lymington Hospital. As a Consultant Geriatrician, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical opinion and leadership in the care of older patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality medical care to patients with complex geriatric needs
  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and experience
  • Collaborate with other healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies
Requirements
  • Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a licence to practice
  • Entry on Specialist Register in Geriatric medicine
  • Holder of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Geriatric medicine or within 12 months of award of CCT by date of interview
