The purpose of this role is to manage day-to-day a team who contribute to the delivery of the logistics operations for Solihull / Logistics Operations Centre supporting production operations across multiple manufacturing areas both within BIW and Trim and Final assembly. This will include the LLP, maintenance, facilities, and other associated functions.

  • Coordinating and supporting the work of the Lead Logistics Provider (LLP) for Solihull.
  • Ensuring delivery of the area's scorecard metrics.
  • Undertaking any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.
  • Manage the operational interface with the Lead Logistics Provider daily.
  • Lead the delivery of the Scorecard metrics associated with operational areas of control.
  • Work with project teams on the development and deployment of new solutions into the live operational environment.

Experience in Material Planning / Logistics in Supply Chain. Have previous experience in multiple logistics functions providing in-depth knowledge of organisational processes. Experience of warehouse management operations and control processes.
