Job Title: Primary School Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and charismatic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in the London Borough of Hillingdon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting children in KS1 and KS2, with a general understanding of the national curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children in KS1 and KS2, with a focus on adapting to any setting and working well as a group or independently.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and providing additional support to students with special needs.
  • Participate in safeguarding training and other relevant courses to ensure the well-being of students.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a primary setting, supporting children in KS1 or KS2, preferably both.
  • General understanding of the national curriculum and ability to support the class teacher.
  • Ability to work well as a group or independently, and support additional needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Availability to work at least 3 times a week, between 8am-4pm.
  • Willingness to complete safeguarding training and other relevant courses.
