Job Description

Job Title: Manufacturing Equipment Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Equipment Lead to join our team at Expleo. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the interface between our Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and suppliers, as well as internal partners, for General Assembly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Ensure compliance with OEM procedures for General Assembly contract management, including the use and adherence to the OEM's procedure for General Assembly contract management (DMOV_CAR00_0215) and the Guidebook for contract management (00963_20_00604).
  • Deliverables: Update the PGi v2 Tool for each contract from each project, and update the restrictions list in the MERLIN tool for the General Assembly Shop.
  • Problem-Solving and Fault Analysis: Participate in problem-solving meetings and fault analysis meetings to identify and resolve issues.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Lead tests during adjustment phases and produce intervention and restart reports after each modification made by the supplier.
  • Reporting and Communication: Produce reports in SACHA between trial times, participate in weekly project reviews, and produce a weekly progress report with information about project deadlines and supplier performance.
  • Acceptance and Accreditation: Prepare and submit acceptance forms to management and define the process for equipment accreditation (safety and regulation).

Requirements:

  • Education: HNC/Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Engineering.
  • Skills: High-level understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures, ideally in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge and experience of automotive process engineering, good communication and negotiation skills, strong cross-functional team leadership skills, and ability to work autonomously with a hands-on approach.
  • Experience: Degree or equivalent relevant experience, knowledge and experience of automotive process engineering, and good computer skills with a good working knowledge of MS Office and CAD systems (AutoCad/Supervisions/Catia an advantage).
