About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Systems Development Engineer to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a Cloud Systems Development Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and operating scalable and secure cloud computing solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cloud-based systems and applications using AWS services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and industry standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our cloud solutions
Requirements
  • 2+ years of professional software development experience
  • 1+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems
  • 7+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems, and hands-on systems engineering
  • Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
  • Experience with Linux/Unix
