Direct Line Group is a leading insurance provider, and we're seeking a skilled Procurement Sourcing Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you'll play a crucial role in implementing our procurement and supply chain strategy, driving breakthrough results through sourcing and contracting strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sourcing and contracting strategies across various categories, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead the procurement process, including RFX, RFP, supplier negotiations, and contracting, adhering to our sourcing policy and minimum standards.
- Implement Category Management as an efficient and effective process, ensuring adherence to our policies, minimum standards, and governance and risk frameworks.
- Ensure contractual arrangements align with supplier and relationship strategies, maximizing commercial benefits while mitigating potential risk exposure.
- Support commercial aspects of implementation, including supplier onboarding and exit, management of change requests, and resolution of ongoing supplier management issues and disputes.
Requirements:
- Experience in a large-scale organization or the insurance/financial services sector.
- Proven track record of sourcing through to contract negotiation experience.
- Strong commercial awareness and communication skills.
