About the Role:

As a Water Sector Engineering Expert, you will play a key part in the projects design team and will be involved in a range of different projects from tender stage, full design, build & operate projects, plant upgrades, and maintenance measures within the water/wastewater industry.

The main responsibilities of this role include carrying out project electrical design from initial concept through to detail design, including generation of control philosophies, load schedules, ESB applications, and instrumentation equipment listings. You will review all documents produced internally and externally to ensure conformance with customer specifications and objectives, as well as 3rd-party bodies' requirements.

You will work closely with other members of the project design team to select and procure instrumentation and appoint electrical sub-contractors in regards to quality, reliability, performance, and cost. Furthermore, you will liaise with subcontractors to ensure projects are completed to the highest standard.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on electrical projects within the water sector and possess excellent communication skills. They will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices, as well as knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

Salary: £65,000 - £90,000 per annum.
