Job Description:

Academics Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary School Teaching Support Specialist to join our team. As a member of our supply teaching staff, you will provide essential support to primary school teachers, ensuring a smooth and productive learning environment for pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the classroom teacher to deliver engaging lessons and manage classroom behavior.
  • Work closely with small groups or individual pupils to offer tailored support and enhance their educational experience.
  • Contribute to the preparation of learning materials and maintain a well-organized classroom space.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes pupil engagement and participation.
  • Supervise children during break and lunch times as required, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Cultivate the social and emotional development of pupils through supportive interactions.
  • Maintain adherence to safeguarding policies at all times, prioritizing pupil welfare.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 0 per hour salary plus benefits package (competitive daily rate)
  • Possession of relevant qualifications and experience working with primary-aged children (desirable but not essential)
  • A genuine passion for education and supporting children's learning
  • The ability to work flexibly on short notice and adapt to different classroom environments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
