Job Title: Store Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Store Assistant to join our team at Aeropeople Ltd. As a Store Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing parts and aircraft components.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect all incoming goods and materials for physical damage and documentation
  • Log all incoming goods and aircraft components on our internal IT systems (Aerotrac)
  • Ensure rejected goods and parts are quarantined and labelled, and that the Team Leader is informed about the discrepant condition
  • Meet all Customs procedures and processes to comply with UK and Global Legislation
  • Issue approved parts, materials, and special tooling to the Workshop Technicians
  • Maintain accurate inventory using computerised systems
  • Ensure that material is removed from store before it's due to expire

Requirements:

  • IT literate with the ability to use Word and Excel
  • Able to lift 25kg unassisted
  • Previous bonded warehouse experience or Stores experience in the Aviation Sector
  • A current forklift licence is an advantage but not essential
