Job Title: Contract Embedded Software Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Contract Embedded Software Engineer to join our team at Platform Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing embedded software and firmware for our scientific instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop embedded software and firmware for our scientific instruments, utilizing your expertise in C/C++ and FreeRTOS.

  • Participate in the New Product Development (NPD) and New Product Introduction (NPI) processes, ensuring the successful launch of our products.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate firmware with hardware components, including HALs and device drivers.

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software and firmware, adhering to industry standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in embedded C/C++ and FreeRTOS development for STM32 microcontrollers.

  • Proficiency in using development tools such as Visual Studio and Keil.

  • Familiarity with gas chemistry, sensing, and detection principles.

  • Expertise in communication protocols, including USB, I2C, SPI, UART, and wireless protocols like BLE and LoRaWAN.
