Water Production Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Water Production Operations Specialist to join our team in the South East London region. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our water treatment works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, maintain, and repair water production assets, including level instrumentation, flow meters, and turbidity monitors.
- Work with technology, including SCADA systems, associated PLCs, and process control networks.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers as necessary.
- Investigate asset failures and implement repairs to avoid interruptions to the water supply process.
- Provide specialist technical advice and training support for technical apprentices.
Requirements:
- A strong practical understanding of operational assets and control systems is essential.
- A solid understanding of SCADA systems.
- Fully versed with relay logic and PLCs (Rockwell & Alan Bradley) management and programming.
- An HNC/Level 4 education or 6+ years' experience in Control, Instrumentation, and Automation, including a time-served apprenticeship.
- A valid driving license is required for working across multiple sites in the assigned region.

- Standby rota payments and overtime opportunities can increase earnings potential by up to £8,000-£10,000 per annum.
