Career Teachers is a leading Education Recruitment provider specialising in temporary staffing for Primary, Secondary and Special Educational Needs schools.

We are looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our high-performing team in Derby. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious, commercially-minded and driven individual looking to establish themselves in the Recruitment Industry and achieve a successful career.

The role and benefits as Recruitment Consultant at Career Teachers include:

  • Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm (Term Time)
  • Monday to Friday 8-12 or 12-4 (School Holidays)
  • Hybrid role (3-4 days per week in office)
  • Salary: £28,000.00 - £35,000.00 (depending on experience)
  • Uncapped commission structure
  • 30 days annual leave rising to 34 with the next 4 years of service
  • Your birthday off
  • Annual abroad trip for employees 1yr+ to thank you for all your hard work

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for education-based roles, specialising in Primary Education.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their staffing needs are met efficiently and effectively.
  • Proactively engage in business development activities to establish new partnerships with schools and educational institutions.
  • Identify and attract high-quality candidates for education positions through various sourcing methods.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships through both face-to-face and remote interactions.
  • Demonstrate a high level of motivation and take ownership of your desk, treating it as your own mini business.
  • Showcase your drive to succeed and build a thriving career within the education recruitment sector.
