This role involves procuring goods and services for a major construction project. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial building fit-out works, vendor selection, and tender process management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying potential supply chains, managing the procurement process, and selecting suitable vendors. They will also be required to negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with project procedures.
We are looking for a highly skilled professional who can work effectively in a live project environment. A strong understanding of procurement principles and practices is essential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the procurement process from initiation to completion
- Selecting suitable vendors based on technical competence, financial stability, and quality of service
- Negotiating contracts that meet business needs while ensuring compliance with project procedures
- Providing guidance and support to colleagues in other functions
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum. Benefits include private medical insurance, company pension scheme, and annual holiday allowance.
