Retail Assistant Manager

The RoleWe're seeking a dynamic and ambitious Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store management team, you'll be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in driving sales performance and day-to-day operations. You'll deliver an exceptional customer experience, optimize KPI performance, and maintain high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Store Manager in driving sales performance and day-to-day operations.
- Take responsibility for the store and team in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Drive store performance by maximizing sales opportunities and optimizing KPI performance.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to drive business growth through customer loyalty and repeat purchases.
- Sell the story, not the discount, by demonstrating and sharing your passion for product with customers.
- Support the recruitment, management, and development of the team.
- Take accountability and pride in the physical appearance and maintenance of the store.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve the operational running of the store.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced, target-driven retail or hospitality environment.
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer experience and service.
- Understanding of retail KPIs and ability to drive improvements.
- Prioritization and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive when working alone and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- WSET 2 qualification is essential, with a willingness to work towards WSET 3 qualification.
- Full UK/EU/EEA driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
