Main Responsibilities- Assess and plan patient care, implementing evidence-based practices to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care, promoting a safe and supportive environment for patients and their families.
- Document patient progress, communicating effectively with colleagues and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that enhance patient care and safety.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
- NMC registration and a Diploma/degree in Nursing or on a pathway to achieve this.
- Knowledge of clinical governance, individual responsibility to health and safety, and clinical risk.
- Able to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, with evidence of meeting PREP requirements.
- Experience with IV drug administration, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
