Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Undisclosed. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing resources within a section or area as designated by the Construction Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing supervision, advice and guidance to the members of the Construction teams and Sub-Contractors.
  • Implementing and assuring compliance with all relevant HS2 and or statutory requirements with regards to Health, Safety, Environment and Public relations within their scope of work.
  • Reviewing contractual agreements and developing design, working methods, programme and forecast costs with the General Foreman and Subcontractors / Suppliers or any other party involved.
  • Communicating non-conformances and any instructions received from the client / designer / RE's staff to the Project Manager, QA and QS teams.

Requirements

  • Degree level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HND in Civil Engineering and vocational training in Engineering.
  • Understanding of Engineering Principles.
  • Knowledge and Understanding of construction contract law and forms of contract through experience and formal training.
