Electrical Systems Maintenance Role:

Wood PLC is seeking an experienced Oil Terminal Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly.

This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment at oil terminals, ensuring compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components at the oil terminal.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential electrical problems.
  • Analyze and interpret electrical schematics to identify and resolve issues.
  • Implement corrective actions to prevent recurring electrical problems.
  • Calibrate and adjust electrical equipment to ensure accurate and efficient operation.
  • Perform routine checks on electrical instruments and gauges to maintain accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate records of electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Requirements:

  • A level 3 electrical qualification or completion of an apprenticeship program in the electrical industry.
  • CompEx EX01-04 qualification.
  • Proven experience as an electrician.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on location and experience).
