Truck Maintenance Engineer

At Terberg DTS, we're seeking a skilled Mobile Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our vehicles and equipment.
As a Mobile Service Technician, you'll be responsible for performing routine servicing, inspections, and repairs on various types of distribution tractors, Ro-Ro tractors, and other sea port equipment. You'll also diagnose and repair technical issues using your knowledge of manufacturers' instructions and diagnostic techniques.
We're looking for someone with a high level of attention to detail, flexibility, and excellent communication skills. You'll work independently, prioritizing tasks and managing your workload effectively. A valid UK driving licence and experience in auto-electrician fault diagnosis are essential.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current road traffic law, including speed limits, van weight restrictions, and driver's hours. You'll also be familiar with the latest diagnostic systems and possess a City and Guilds Level 3 – Vehicle Mechanical and Electronic Systems – Maintenance and Repair Qualification or equivalent.
In return for your hard work, we offer a competitive salary of up to £37,000 per annum, as well as additional benefits, including company pension, cycle-to-work scheme, free/subsidised travel, health and wellbeing programme, life insurance, and sick pay.
