Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with SEN, promoting their academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement tailored learning plans, ensuring the needs of each pupil are met.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment, fostering a sense of community and respect among pupils and staff.
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress, providing regular updates to teachers and other relevant staff.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children with SEN in a primary school setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with adults and children.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.
  • Good understanding of child development, with a focus on SEN.
  • Qualifications: Good numeracy/literacy skills, degree or NVQ 2 in teaching assistance or equivalent qualifications/experience.
