About the Role:

  • Provide expert care to clients with complex needs, including spinal cord injuries, neuromuscular disabilities, tracheostomy/ventilation, acquired brain injuries, learning & physical disabilities, and epilepsy.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with clients, their families, and carers.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support.
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Provide training and support to carers to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a minimum of 12 months' work experience in the UK and an active NMC PIN.
  • Tracheostomy and ventilator experience desirable.
  • ITU/HDU experience would be desirable.
  • Care of the spinal patient knowledge desirable.
  • Enteral feeding experience essential.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond quickly to changing priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, their families, and carers.
  • Supportive management style that can bring out the best in others.
  • Confident, passionate, and possess a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Ability to manage your own caseload of community packages, including working in the community and at Wimbledon head office.
