Job Description


We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Combined Underwriter to join our team in Manchester. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for profitably underwriting Commercial Combined business on a case-by-case basis within our appetite and underwriting criteria.



Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the commercial lines market, broking marketplace, legislation, and litigation that could affect the writing of business
  • Profitably underwrite Commercial Combined business on a case-by-case basis within our appetite and underwriting criteria
  • Develop and maintain strong trading skills with experience in developing broker accounts to achieve profitable growth
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with Commercial Combined business


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Strong trading skills with experience in developing broker accounts to achieve profitable growth
  • Underwriting knowledge, specifically with previous experience in Commercial Combined
  • Previous Commercial Combined Underwriting experience
  • A passion for your own development within the insurance industry
