We are seeking a highly skilled Communication Systems Engineer to join our multidisciplinary Future Products team at Airbus Defence and Space Limited. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing Airbus' next communications, navigation, and data processing satellite payloads.

• System Design and Development: Design and develop on-board payload processors, including simulation, analysis, and laboratory prototyping.
• Supplier Management: Assess, steer, and manage supplier technology development through commercial and institutional programs.
• Concept Feasibility and Generation: Conduct feasibility studies and generate new ideas to influence Airbus roadmaps and strategy.

• Technical Expertise: You will have a strong background in terrestrial or space communications systems engineering or networking, with experience in radio access networks, 5G/6G, or similar technologies.
• Innovation and Initiative: You will be able to demonstrate innovation and initiative in pursuing new ideas, investigating potential technologies/solutions, and driving change.
• Leadership and Collaboration: You will be able to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
