Program Overview

Texas Instruments' FAST Rotation Program is a comprehensive training initiative designed to equip Sales & Applications team members with the skills and knowledge required to excel in customer-oriented careers that combine technical expertise with business acumen.

The program offers a unique blend of hands-on experiences and theoretical knowledge, enabling participants to develop a deep understanding of TI's products and solutions, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with customers and drive business growth.

Program Structure
  1. Rotation 1 (6 months), Field Sales Office (FSO): In this rotation, participants will gain hands-on experience in working directly with customers to solve technical challenges and maximize TI's revenue by providing customers with system-level solutions that meet their design needs.
  2. Rotation 2 (5 months), Systems Engineering & Marketing (SEM): During this rotation, participants will gain a deeper understanding of how various TI components fit together to provide systems-level solutions for customer designs.
Final Role

Upon completion of the program, participants will assume the role of a Field Applications Engineer (FAE) in a permanent position based in our Manchester office.

  • Identify potential projects using various sales tools and relationships with design engineering.
  • Provide customers with proactive proposals for complete, system-level solutions that maximize TI content.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English, with strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of schematics, layouts, and digital components.
  • Knowledge and understanding of analog circuitry, including op-amps, DC/DC power, data converters, sensing, and other relevant topics.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with lab equipment, such as oscilloscopes, along with soldering and debugging skills.
  • Programming skills in C/C++ (LabView recommended).
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery.
