About the Role:
Care Managers Ltd is a leading provider of temporary staffing solutions for the NHS Trust in Salisbury. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paediatric Nurse to join our team, delivering exceptional care to children and young people across various settings.
Job Summary:

As a Paediatric Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, assessing patient needs, and developing tailored care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to children and young people in wards, outpatient clinics, and emergency departments
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures safely and effectively, ensuring accurate documentation
- Provide emotional support to patients and families, facilitating open communication and understanding
- Monitor patients' conditions, escalating concerns to senior staff when necessary
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care, promoting patient-centered outcomes
- Adhere to infection control and safeguarding policies, prioritizing patient safety at all times
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a qualified Paediatric Nurse (RNC)
- Minimum 6 months experience in a paediatric nursing role, preferably within an NHS setting
- Strong clinical skills, including medication administration, wound care, and medical device management
- Up-to-date mandatory training, including Basic Life Support (BLS) and Safeguarding Children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, families, and healthcare professionals
