About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Community Mental Health Nurse to join our team in North East London. As a Community Mental Health Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to adults with acute mental health problems.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have:

  • A clear understanding of Home Treatment/Crisis Resolution Model of service delivery, including gatekeeping and facilitating early discharges from the ward.
  • Ability to work under pressure, both as an independent practitioner and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent standard of literacy and numeracy.
  • Experience of working with people with complex, acute mental health needs.
  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating aspects of care.
  • Ability to travel efficiently throughout the area.
