About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead our team of engineers in developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining high-quality software applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers in designing, implementing, and delivering scalable, cloud-based solutions using microservices and APIs.
  • Establish and enforce standards and methodologies for software engineering, ensuring alignment with business and customer needs.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and partners to prioritize and deliver the software engineering roadmap.
  • Manage engineering team performance, offering guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation, staying updated on the latest tech trends and incorporating standard processes.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in software engineering, ideally with expertise in Java or similar languages.
  • A solid understanding of microservice architectures, API development, and cloud technologies (public and private cloud).
  • Practical experience in CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Hands-on experience with performance engineering and cloud optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with authentication and authorization protocols.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, service mesh, orchestration).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical issues into clear business solutions.
