About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced New Build Solicitor to join our team at CV-Library. As a key member of our conveyancing department, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of new build property matters from inception through to conclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a caseload of new build property matters, including sales & purchase, equity, right to buy, shared ownership schemes, and lease extensions.
  2. Maintain efficient systems to diarise and ensure all deadlines are met.
  3. Demonstrate excellent client care, apply technical knowledge, and communicate complex legal matters into a commercially astute and understandable format.
  4. Build lasting working relationships with clients and house builder referrers.
  5. Liaise directly with clients, estate agents, and lenders.
  6. Develop professional relationships with clients and other potential sources of work.
  7. Generate a fee income in line with agreed targets.
  8. Manage, supervise, and develop staff.
  9. Contribute to the team's business development activities and budgets to drive growth in New Build work.

About You:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced New Build Solicitor who can provide an excellent standard of client care. You will have a thorough working knowledge of conveyancing practice and procedures, and be able to communicate complex legal matters in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience working on New Build purchase and sale matters.
  2. Hold a relevant qualification.
  3. Be commercially astute and understand the importance of business targets.
  4. Experience in assisting with or managing, supervising, training, and developing support staff.
  5. Be organised and process-driven, with excellent IT skills and experience of using a web-based case management system.
  6. Credible past and consistent billing/financial performance.
