Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled caretaker to join our team at Matrix Academy Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our academy premises. This includes regular cleaning, groundskeeping, and carrying out health and safety inspections.
About the Position:
This is a rewarding role that requires someone who is reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently. You will be required to work a standard 37-hour week, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility to cover emergencies outside of working hours.
Estimated Annual Salary: £27,900 (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of academy premises;
- Carrying out regular cleaning schedules;
- Groundskeeping, including lawn mowing, pruning, and waste management;
- Health and safety inspections to ensure compliance with relevant regulations;
- Security monitoring to prevent theft and vandalism.
