Deputy Care Home Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Care Home Manager to join our team at a beautiful nursing home in Lowestoft. As a Clinical Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in managing operations within the home, ensuring the provision of high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing operations within the home to reach or exceed goals.
  • Oversee the care staff and assume full management in the event of the Home Manager's absence.
  • Train and supervise care staff in all facets of their work.
  • Help the Home Manager with pre-admission assessments of residents and ensure that each resident's care plan and daily records are kept up to date.
  • Foster effective communication with residents' families and other organizations.
Requirements:
  • NMC registered nurse with relevant experience.
  • Ability to engage with service users to understand their needs and provide excellent services of care.
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staffing team.
