About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dentist to join our team at Peninsula Dental Social Enterprise CIC. As a key member of our dental education facility in Truro, you will provide high-quality NHS dental services in a multidisciplinary and innovative clinical environment.

Main Responsibilities

As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing clinically appropriate and high-quality NHS dental treatment to patients, following all relevant standards and guidelines. You will maintain our standards of clinical governance, including infection control, patient confidentiality, and clinical record keeping. Regular audits of clinical treatment will be carried out, and you will ensure that health and safety procedures are observed at all times.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide high-quality NHS dental treatment to patients, following all relevant standards and guidelines.
  • Maintain our standards of clinical governance, including infection control, patient confidentiality, and clinical record keeping.
  • Regularly carry out audits of clinical treatment.
  • Ensure health and safety procedures are observed at all times.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree, GDC registration, and a Performers number. You will also need to have demonstrable clinical experience in an NHS practice, be active in clinical dental practice, and have broad experience in a wide range of treatments. Education experience is desirable.
